About Us
We’re parents from 21228 who want something better for our kids. We looked around for someone to fix the phone/screen situation and realized…
nobody’s coming.
So we did what moms do: we organized.
We’re social workers, medical professionals, scientists, educators, advocates and badass moms — building a village where kids can grow up with more freedom, more connection, and less screen pressure.
Our Story
Catonsville Unplugged started with a simple conversation between friends.
A few moms said, “We can’t be the only ones feeling this… let’s do something.”
So we got together for coffee. Then more moms joined. One conversation turned into many — and before long, it was clear this wasn’t just frustration. It was the beginning of a movement.
That’s how Catonsville Unplugged was born: moms in 21228 organizing to rebuild the village and create healthier norms around phones, social media, and screen pressure.

We’d love to talk to you.
We don’t have all the answers — but together, as a community, we can figure this out and change the culture around us.
If you want to join our effort (or you have ideas for how we can build a stronger village and create happier childhoods), please reach out.
(Dads and caregivers are welcome too.)
